Betty Sue Jordan, affectionately known as "Suka", was born to the parentage of Benjamin Atkins and Dorothy Jordan.
Betty Sue was a faithful member of Kingdom Life Fellowship Ministries in Wadley, Georgia. She was a graduate of Wadley High School, class of 1979. Her post secondary education included classes at East Georgia College, formerly Emanuel County Junior College in Swainsboro, Georgia. She continued to earn her Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Degree from Swainsboro Technical College in Swainsboro.
"Suka" had a passion for beautiful flowers and enjoyed gardening as well as fishing. She shared her love with others, as she planted flowers and plants for her family members. Those flowers and plants continue to thrive today and will always remind her family of their most precious flower, "Suka".
Betty Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Atkins and Dorothy Jordan; her siblings, Barbara Strowbridge, Elder Willie Jordan and Jerome Jordan.
"Suka" answered her Master's call on Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Louisville. Jefferson County, Georgia.
Her memory will continue to dwell in the hearts of her devoted son, Brandon Charles (Shakyla) Bennett, Sr., Augusta, Georgia and a nephew, reared as her son, Synedarius Tomlin, Wadley, Georgia; four sisters, Maude (John Henry) Lewis, Nellie (Doyle) Heath, Earnestine (Rev. Dr. David) Kemp, Sr. and LaVelury (David) Powell, Wadley, Georgia; a brother, Edward Jordan, Wadley, Georgia; one grandson, a godson, Jaquez Boyd and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
